Netanyahu says aid workers’ killing tragic, ‘happens in wartime’

Countries across the world have been reacting very strongly against Israeli strikes wherein seven people working for the World Central Kitchen (WCK) aid group in Gaza.

The deceased WCK workers included citizens from Australia, Britain, Poland, a Palestinians and a dual citizen of the United States and Canada. They were working for celebrity chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen in central Gaza, the NGO said in a statement.

State heads and representatives of Spain, Australia, Britain and Poland expressed their resentment over the killings in the attack and demanded a thorough investigation into the tragic incident.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lamented the killing of the seven WCK aid group workers, describing the incident as tragic and unintended.
